why do people make not being conventionally attractive such a big deal?? I feel like I’m still having the full spectrum of human experiences. Plus it doesn’t matter as much as people say it does.

to be really honest it’s because i want to take cute fun pictures and share them, but it’s really hard to look back at the pictures you took to remember those fun moments and you’re just embarrassed and sad about what you look like. it’s also really hard to make friends when you’re not very pretty, which also sometimes causes you to miss out on fun parts of life unless you just want to do everything alone which isnt as fun.

I think some want attention or at least the respect that comes with being attractive. Those who are not conventionally attractive don’t always get treated like ppl and are dismissed or ignored

the work starts within. attractiveness isn’t as big of a hindrance as you think it is, but low self-esteem is
