Right like as a former church of Christ kid yeah I wasn’t forced to wear a dress but women weren’t allowed to teach bible class above the 6th grade, we couldn’t pray in front of the congregation, we couldn’t serve communion, we couldn’t lead singing unless no men were there at all (including male children), and if it was a women’s day, they called in a man to lead us in prayer.
