Does anyone have any tasty and relatively healthy meals that are easy to make when you’re depressed? I’m trying to eat more regularly but I’m too depressed to meal prep and wish everything

i love yogurt with fresh berries for breakfast! i do strawberry yogurt with blueberries, strawberries, honey granola oats, and a scoop of peanut butter. the only prep is just cutting the strawberries into small bits when you first get them. they stay good for about a week. very yummy and takes like, 2 min to put together in the morning

Crock pot meals are fire and you can almost always find a crock pot at the thrift store you just throw all the ingredients in and let it cook all day it’s awesome

I always have these in my freezer. I’ll boil these in chicken broth with some miso, sometimes add some veggies to the broth if I have any. Really filling!

And it’s cheaper to cook from scratch instead of buying everything pre-made 🫤

I love a pork roast and you dont even have to use expensive pork cuts I use cheap pork loin and throw carrots and potatoes in there with some broth and seasonings it’s always so yummy. @yejiskitchenstories on insta also has a recipe for soy garlic drumsticks that are amazing and a plus is that drumsticks are typically a cheaper cut as well

What I like to do is stock up on ingredients and spices so that whatever u make will taste good (garlic n ginger n a big thing of soy sauce)

i also like the cheap lil Pasta Sides dishes. my favorite is cheddar broccoli, it’s just cheesy pasta. you can toss in some frozen veggies for extra nutrition. if you wanna go another step, you can ofc put in chicken. i like to buy a roasted rotisserie chicken and just tear the meat off and throw it on lol
