It’s called disillusionment. Happens to everyone. You build this person up in your head and almost create a version of them that doesn’t really exist until all of that falls away. I didn’t know mine was the one until maybe four months of dating. Granted we were friends for about six months before we got together. I liked him don’t get me wrong and hoped he was the one but i wasn’t sure until I was if that makes sense.

it’s the chase I think. When they know they don’t have you they’re on their best behavior but when they know they’ve alr got you, they don’t maintain it like that. You gotta be careful and listen to your intuition, but also keep in mind that it could purely be coincidence and things could be going on in their life making them act different
