I wish people realized that the average American is one $500 emergency away from becoming homeless and about 38-64% of homeless people in America depend on/abuse a substance. Your local tweakers are just like everyone else in the world who had shitty cards dealt and they know how to see others in bad circumstances so more often than not they end up helping bc they care about people being safe. I’d trust the local homeless woman in my town more than I’d ever trust a rich man.
