i will never understand why people are so against same sex marriage… and no your religion isn’t an excuse to be hateful and justify your hatred either.

Honestly. It’s one thing to not agree with that lifestyle choice but it’s another to simply lack respect for other people and their free will choice

but what is there to disagree on though? it still doesn’t make sense. love is love how can you disagree on that? also a sexuality and who you love is not a lifestyle. It’s who you are as a person.

I’m referring to religious people and the way that they often see it. I grew up in a conservative household, but struggle understanding how they lack respect for what others choose to do with their life. Thats what I meant by lifestyle.

i know and the way they see it still makes no sense. i also grew up religious and there’s still just no excuse for their odd behavior.

Yeah, it’s hypocritical 😭 Too many are self-righteousness and think that they are God or something.. like no bestie you might just be satan😬

i don’t even think god and the devil are real but even if they are ppl take religion way out of context all the time

I’m a Christian but I agree, people take things out of context and weaponize religion/religious texts. I don’t go to church cause it’s seriously so hard to find good people within those spaces.
