everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but Jesus was a real human being that lived even secular science will educate you on that 🙂

I’m the same way like i genuinely think id be so much happier if i could believe in an afterlife or a higher power that has my whole life planned out but the way logic works in my brain says that logically that can’t be true and it’s so frustrating

I’m not saying Jesus wasn’t a real person I’m fully aware of that, it’s the religion behind Jesus that I don’t believe. The idea of this all knowing god.

and that’s fine but to deduce Christianity to delusion when it orbits around a real person is distasteful.

are you suggesting that if I made a similar post saying “I don’t understand how Muslims worship Allah, they’re so delusional” wouldn’t be offensive to them?

You’re reading more malice into this post than is actually there. Defensiveness is not a fruit of the spirit OP is literally saying they wish they could believe becuase it would make life easier but they can’t make themselves believe. And to answer your question. In my experience Muslims are much less sensitive than a lot of Christians and they’d probably just comment offering prayers that allah would guide them to belief

Also the Bible literally says that the gospel will be seen as foolish to people who don’t believe so idk why you’re getting mad at people for living up to what the word of God promised

because christian’s don’t know the bible they just pick bits and pieces to attack people who don’t agree with them. example: user number 3

that wasn’t the question. the question was could calling a Muslim delusional for following Allah be taken as an offense

You were strawmanning by changing the wording of their original post and making it worse than it was. If Muslims saw this exact post and the word Christians was changed to Muslims no I don’t think they’d be offended

the essence of this post is that Christians are deluded. therefore asking if calling Muslims deluded in the same manner is not strawman. a strawman argument refers to a misrepresentation of the original point.
