Locked tomb is by Tamsyn Muir, Also Teixcalaan series by Arkady Martine Former is gothic sci-fi and latter is like anthropological sci-fi

Brandon Sanderson books like Mistborne or the Stormlight Archives, the Locked Tomb series, Light Bringer and Night Angel series by Brent Weeks, and that’s just fantasy off the top of my head. I’m more of a hard sci fi nerd atm
