Why is pink seen as so feminine and uncommon for boys to like or wear or have pink sheets or whatever but blue is basically unisex and none of that applies? Like genuinely asking

Post ww2 marketing trends associated ‘feminine’ products and behavior with brighter colors like pink, whereas ‘masculine’ products and behaviors took a more neutral tone

Also because patriarchal society = masculinity > femininity. society is misogynistic, ‘well of course women would like pants and blue and strength’ because acting masculine is desired but ho if a man wears a skirt or likes pink or is gentle then ‘there must be something wrong because why does he want something feminine.’
