i love my boyfriend sm but i feel i can never do anything with him without having to pay for it; I’m in a way better financial spot than him but it’s wearing me down paying for a majority of the dates and food idk how to approach him abt it :/

i think you should be honest with him about how you feel. it’s not about how much money he has, but wanting to feel like he puts in effort too. you shouldn’t have to carry the financial responsibility for every date just because you’re in a better financial position.

and while you are communicating, observe him, and if he takes it a complete opposite direction, i think you will need to sit down with yourself and figure out if this is what you want for your future.
