Some people have different views. And some of those views end up killing people, so not all views are valid

Since when? People have modified words to mean social concepts when that doesn’t make sense. These things shouldn’t be different because it makes words confusing and leads to more social issues than it fixes

People don’t have to transition to live healthy lives, dysphoria can be dealt with by understanding where your feelings come from and accepting reality. Most trans people going through transitions have moments where they feel comfortable in their own skin before changing completely but because they’re surrounded by a community that tells them they should transition they end up disregarding their feelings and go full way which leads to them being insecure about their gender even afterwards

when i took advanced AP biology in high school my textbook said sex and gender are different and it’s actually not a new concept lol it’s just become more widespread in the last decade or so as awareness increased

Girl, just because it says something in a textbook doesn’t make it true. Scientists probably push narratives in order for physicians to get paid to do all sorts of cosmetic surgery and in turn get money from that. If this were true then that would be a universal animal thing but it’s not

Anecdotal people I know irl, don’t get me wrong I’m not a transphobe but I don’t think society should be pushing it as the first thing. Those people I know irl have some of the most fragile resolves. Also, the transgender thing really comes down to community, it’s not a “oh you’re a woman” thing it’s a “what are your pronouns, here are mine” like it’s a social club. People can find community in something less biologically and cosmetically harmful

If you want you can try doing actual research, I’m speaking anecdotally ofc but there’s also been stories from post transitions where they say at times they were okay with the body they were born with but forced themselves to go through with it because they’re surrounded believed it would make them better in the end

“Most trans people” - WRONG, the trans people you know “a community that tells them they should transition” - WRONG, maybe the people your trans people are surrounded by, but I can tell you know very little about this community as it absolutely not forceful surrounding transitioning at all, speaking as some who is a part of said community and engages in it in many ways [there’s more don’t you worry]

“it’s not ‘oh you’re a woman” - WRONG, being transgender is being the gender. my sister isn’t a man who goes by she/her pronouns. she is a woman. she is my sister. fully transitioned or not. [still more. do not fret]

“I’m not a transphobe” - WRONG, whether or not you think you are a transphobe is null and void when you outwardly say these harmful, misinforming statements about the community. you literally in these statements say being transgender is just a pronoun thing and disregard the part of being transgender that involves being the gender. you’re speaking on behalf of a community that you do not understand or value and a community that you should step away from if you are not willing to correct yourself

it is a animal thing, love. and “universal” should not be applied as last I checked many animals have things that others don’t and it doesn’t make it any less real. “just because it says something in a textbook doesn’t make it true.” sorry just had to laugh at that statement. anyways. Lizards, fish, snakes, snails, etc. this is the second time you’ve come out and said something uneducated on this post alone, maybe you should start researching before you speak

“Those people I know irl have some of the most fragile resolves.” - I wouldn’t be surprised because they know you and this is probably how you act around them. I hope they cut you off so they can live their life free from bigotry and judgement

Anecdotes can’t be data you want to apply to an entire population. 1. The trans community doesn’t advocate that all trans people should medically transition. They advocate that trans people who WANT to medically transition should be able to. 2. I’ve done research into this and there’s a study showing that transition (medical or social)leads to better outcomes for transgender people.
