why does everyone LOVE Greek life so much? it’s literally disgusting to me, paying for friends

It’s def not for everyone but it opened a lot of doors for me. I was able to take leadership positions in my sorority and learn a lot ab what I wanted to do post grad. I was kinda interested in finance going into college but being vice president of finance for my sorority taught me a lot and now I’m a financial advisor and half of my sorority sisters and their families are my clients. Again it’s def not for everyone but a lot of ppl love it for different reasons

Greek life can be fun at times but it has its ups and downs I have a sibling in a frat and he loves it but everyone is different I personally don’t want to join one but I will hangout with them sometimes

Yeah I would say there are ppl who join Greek life just for friends and partying but there are those who want to get more out of it! I was always told when I first joined you get out of it what you put in so I knew I had to take advantage of every opportunity I could and the ppl I surrounded myself with did the same but I was just putting it out there that you can get more than just friends out of it but I do agree there are those who join just for friends and partying lol

I saw a lot of those girls first hand when I was in exec lol but it’s not always paying for friends with everyone’s Greek life experiences!
