realistically how much do you spend to ski or snowboard. it’s on my bucket list but between the price, travel, and the high chance that i will suck more than most beginners… idk if i’ll ever get to it 🫩

it can expensive. even if you can go to a cheaper slope and get a good day pass, all the gear (including clothing) is expensive and you want to invest in good skis/snowboards. they can last a very long time if they’re good quality, it’s also overall easier and safer if they are too. but some stores have good deals

don’t let your skill level dissuade you though! so many ppl on the slope are beginners and u can even get lessons

okok ty! i think honestly what dissuades me is the fact that i want to get decent practice in and it really would work out if my potential future trips are years apart 💀 but maybe when i have my money up ill prioritize it bc it’s definitely on my life bucket list
