Worst part is women do lie about SA and even more so, those who do usually want attention which is soo fucked up and backwards. So basically they end up damaging the credibility of survivors while making gains for themselves. It’s selfish as fuck. I knew girls like this. They hurt dudes that were legitimately decent literally just to make themselves look more relatable to survivors. Poly sci majors too. Fucked up shit.

It happens and obviously it’s horrible but it happens WAY less than people think. People act like almost all accusations are false, and that’s just not true. Without looking it up I think I remember the real number is about 10% of accusations are false. The number should be 0 but it’s also not as rampant as people (especially men) make it out to be and if we’re being honest, accusations don’t really affect men’s reputations very much. All we have to do is look all over our government to see that

It depends on who he is and I wouldn’t say that either. Accusations can absolutely ruin a guy. The sad part is that accusations will ruin a guy who isn’t guilty accusations won’t ruin a guy who’s popular and “attractive”— usually correlating with men who are more likely to be perps. But realistically I’m not looking at statistics here, I’m looking at the fact that it happens at all. It pisses me off that “hands to yourself” is taught in kindergarten and not reinforced when hormones kick in.

It also pisses me off that we live in a society that empowers men in general to assault and that this is even an issue to begin with. I don’t know why people can’t just fucking have self control and not touch each other without consent. Girls or guys. People are so damn useless.

I just know women have their reputations destroyed from accusing men far more often than men’s careers are destroyed from accusations against themselves. Like I can easily name 10 women from public cases whose lives have been destroyed from it, but the same isn’t true for men. Men generally don’t face much pushback. Hell, even the president was found responsible for SA and no one seems to care, and that’s just one example of many. But I totally agree with everything else you said

Yea and that makes me wanna throw some men in a meat grinder. Because it proves men that there is no consequence to doing such a thing and it hurts not only women but men too. It just makes society soo much more toxic. Idk why we built a damn country that prides itself on enforcing wills on other people without consent. I hate this country seriously. We literally built a society (men mostly) that allows non consensual activities to thrive
