my boss only hires women bc “he has bad experience with male employees” and he is hiring a new girl. he said he wants us to sit in for their follow up interview and doesn’t want us being mean to her bc she is pretty. like wtf 🥴🫩 i can’t with him

idk what field you’re in but when i was working in a kitchen (moved and had to leave very recently) my manager stopped hiring men (boys, really) bc they SUCKEDDDDD at their jobs. i genuinely think all the highschool boys there think that cooking is the ONLY part of working in a kitchen…

yeah i’m pretty sure he just likes having women work for him but he has said that men that have worked for him in the past always bumped heads with him and were not loyal to the his business 🤨 like we aren’t either! we just work here

Right 💀 I work in the news and we definitely hire more women than men across all positions except with photogs and directors, but my boss doesn’t ever bring attention to it. It just feels weird that your’s feels the need to say anything about it like he’s covering his ass ahead of time

mm yeah, i work at a personal injury law firm. so guys who go into that field are usually cocky and ambitious so i think that’s what he doesn’t like. he thinks he can control women workers easier from what i can tell

yeah, he definitely overshares about his dating life and about that. like he literally said about the new girl “she could be on the cover of a magazine” like uhm? okay we don’t care about that. what does her looks have to do with anything?

Why do I get the impression what he means by “bump heads” is “they called me out on my bullshit and I didn’t like that”. Not that a woman can’t it’s just that we are programmed by society to put up with weird shit from men because calling it out gets us called the “crazy bitch”.
