I just started finally gaining a little bit after I turned 21 but it was also me putting in a LOT of work to gain. I was hospitalized 3 times, 2 for dehydration and once for needed to get a blood transfusion because my heart wasn’t strong enough to pump enough blood for my body. It was actually not that bad of an experience being hospitalized because each time the doctors all just wanted to help me. I have my dms open btw if you have questions about what I did to gain and what being hospitalized

it’s like this constant cycle of being so hungry my stomach hurts but my stomach hurts so bad i have no appetite so i stay hungry and hurting

Try getting drinks with calories and easy foods like yogurt, toast, cereal, and rice in your system then work up to bigger foods like bread, meat, and cheeses

my sister had this issue at a point. what helped her was those ensure shakes, and a small meal after. she said the ensure helped with like getting rid of or at least reducing the pain and nausea from being hungry so she was able to eat an actual meal shortly after

Also ensures actually taste not too bad they take a little getting used to but once you so they’re good. Chobonie yogurt drinks, juice, milk are also good options. When I was really bad and could only eat around 500 calories a day max I went on an anti nausea med and that really helped out.

i actually think me smoking so much weed in the first place is wha kinda caused my appetite to go out of wack i’ve always been small my whole life like i had issues eating back when i was 9 but it got rlly bad my sophomore year when i was high 24/7

There are meds that help increase appetite. I went on one that started with an m but I don’t remember what it is anymore. Imma say weed can be a big help with appetite but there are negatives to it too (I’ve smoked weed since high school)

my mom is so weird abt help from doctors it actually makes me upset when i was still in hs i asked if we could go to a nutritionist or SOMETHING she told me no and “to j eat” like omg i didn’t think of that!!! ur so right!

ofc!! make sure you get the ensure plus and not the protein one. the plus has more calories. try to focus on eating small meals consistently

i actually love ensures 😭😭 my sister and i were picky eaters as kids so my mom used to buy them to supplement our meals and im telling you i could go through the whole pack by myself

If you can eat peanuts, peanut butter is also great and calorie dense
