Ive gotten to a place where I need to loose weight but to get up and do it is so hard but I also feel like I’m mourning my potential everyday. Like I don’t even feel happy in my own skin anymore

Fuck everyone who ever reduced our potential to our bodies. Your feelings are valid and I feel the same way but also fuck we don’t deserve it - weight is not a normal failing, it is not a direct indicator of health, no other indicator of health is met with the same level of moral judgement and lack of sympathy and it’s arbitrary, objectifying, and wrong the way people talk about it. Idc what you look like, you deserve the world

I also feel like it’s so hard to get up to do ANYTHING. Even the little things. Last year I genuinely hated myself after a bad break up that I truly had nobody and owned nothing. I don’t understand how ppl channel their emotions into physical effort yet but it was more so an act of self hate to myself be in total pain at the gym bc of it.

Now… I didn’t even start weights and machines until this year. But I was a cardio queen and wore the ugliest heaviest clothes to the gym. Walking for an hour, stairs for an hour, I picked up running and did 2 miles every/other day. Did 40 squats, sit ups, tried a push up, and planks.

And by the time I really got lost in the gym going activity (I also was going from like 8pm-1am bc I had a long ahh Job too) I didn’t notice it had been like 2 months give or take some weeks and I looked in the mirror and just noticed wow, flat tummy? Abs defining? Legs toned? More energy? Try it babe
