I am not recommending that specific unit, however I’m providing it as reference. One of our family friends just had a similar water situation and had to practically rebuild the house. That’s how I learned about these. I hope the girl mentioned in the post gets the help she needs and I def donated!

Yea. Same for our friend. One of these def woulda saved him but now that he’s rebuilt, we are very lucky to have one of these now. I honestly believe these should be code just like smoke detectors and fire extinguishers— or home insurance companies should offer benefits to those installing these!!
