forever grateful for my mom, she gave me the talk when i was in like 3rd-4th grade (mostly bc i liked watching friends and they talk ab sex a lot in the show)

and when i was 16-17 i was BEGGING her to put me on BC (for multiple reasons, mostly to help with my periods) and she said “have you had sex?” and i said “yes” and she IMMEDIATELY scheduled an appt for me. she’s a methodist pastor but is insanely understanding/gracious, she just wanted to make sure i was safe ❤️‍🩹
