I can’t speak for Islam and the Quran but I do know the Bible has been misinterpreted and people cling to it being “misogynistic” when in reality there is always and I mean ALWAYS context that is missing. For example I can’t remember the church the author of this book was writing to but this society worshipped women as “goddesses” yet they were uneducated women at the helm. The author warned against uneducated women in power and said “not allowed” many interpret this as “no women in power”

I mean look at the US governmental situation right now. Many women’s rights that have been threatened and taken away are things that have nothing to do with religion, and should never have been threatened by any governing party. Yet our elected leaders say that it’s ‘with the faith’ and it’s what’s good and righteous. They hide behind religion to excuse their abhorrent actions; but we all know the things being done are not right, regardless of what religion any of us follow.
