when the life givers (women) of a society aren't broken down and kept mentally & physically enslaved with a lifetime of servitude, men fear that they have lost access to "life". they fear they have lost their "legacy", their "immortality" so to speak to them, the subjugation of women cemented their bloodline. it guaranteed that they would see their own faces looking back at them in their children. that they themselves would somehow keep living. very parasitic 🤢
