I empathize with my friends who’ve been single for a long time (I have as well) but it’s really annoying when all they talk about is that. I understand it’s frustrating I’m tired of hearing them talk about it 24/7. At some point you gotta move on

People who do that are so irritating I’m saying this as someone whose never had a boyfriend. People do it so much that they assume everyone who’s single is bitter or hates couples which is not true.

That’s true! I think the core of this is just being male centered. I think regardless of your relationship status you need to have an identity outside of dating/having a partner/sex. Being well rounded is very important and I think a lot of people are missing that. That’s why it’s so all or nothing

YES. male centered women are the worst esp when that’s all they talk about and they end up ditching you for a man 😭

Yes they’re just as bad too. I’ve had to limit my interactions with both chronically single ppl who are miserable about it or male centered women who don’t have an identity outside of their partner. They’re both a headache to be around

I’ve had friends like this and they constantly want reassurance and then when you give it to them they’re still upset bc they don’t inherently believe their valuable by virtue of being a human so idk what tell to them either

These same people don’t listen to advice either and get hurt because they just want a man

Sometimes you gotta leave them where they’re at. I’ve gotten real strict about talking about men with them bc I refuse to entertain conversations if they’re not gonna do anything to change their situation.
