Honestly some women have to stop hating on men just because they’re men

Reasons: - Loved ones passing away - They have trouble walking/bussing/driving to community/friends/family - Social interactions are harder because they’re hard of hearing and aren’t as funny as they used to be and have trouble and have trouble understanding conversation - they’re no longer part of the workforce - often live alone or move in to senior housing far from friends and family

My dad doesn’t have friends bc they all end up being draw or rude or flake. He’s the nicest chillest person I know. Sometimes you get unlucky in life and never find your besties. He’s got a great wife tho.

Eeeeh, idk chief. I’m not gonna assume a lonely old man is a lonely old man because they are a bad person like the post implies. It’s not feminist or empowering to think like this, it’s pathetic

my dad’s lonely and it makes me sad because his “valid reason” is just that he’s socially awkward (and I’m 99% sure he has autism). it makes me so sad :(

Fr, I would feel miserable if I thought like this 24/7. Just finding ways to hate men 🤷‍♀️

yeah I have no idea how this post is meant to call out anything patriarchal or how it’s meant to help women stay safe. it’s just needlessly rude 😭

I like to think they know their own dads better than a internet stranger making assumptions

There was a lonely old man who used to live at the senior care facility I worked at. Sweetest person I ever met, I’d talk to him during my shifts, he was lonely though. His wife passed, he had dementia, and his kids just dumped him there and seldom visited. One day he seemed really excited, was old dressed up and he told me his son was going to pick him up and take him to a restaurant for his birthday. Only his son never showed up. He spent hours waiting in the lobby.

I eventually left that place, I was in high school when I had the job and was moving on to bigger and better things. I still think about that old man. He may not still be around but he had a impact on my life even if he wasn’t all there some of the time
