I’ve seen a lot of people on different social media platforms posting stuff along the lines of “not eating a lot to not gain weight” or “abs over pie” I know it’s almost 11pm but I wanted to say one day of having a large meal isn’t going to make you gain

Weight. Don’t starve yourself. Trust me you’ll still hate your body and you’ll still have an unhealthy relationship with food. And when you’re 80 you’re not gonna look back and say “I’m glad I never ate much and was skinny” you’re gonna say “man I loved my grandmas pumpkin pie” or “gosh that Mac and cheese I’d make for thanksgiving was the best” you deserve to eat, you always have and you always will

Right. If one day of not eating right and exercising doesnt make you lose a bunch of weight— a day of treating yourself wont make you gain a bunch of weight.
