well no. as a black woman, people see your race before they see you. people see that i’m black before they see anything else about me. a white woman is seen as white before anything else

Yeah I feel like racism is definitely worse than misogyny even though they are both horrible. I don’t think there’s any like general circumstance where a man of color would be treated better than a white woman, which is why I said I feel like the cases where a man of color is treated better than a woman I think only really applies when that woman is a woman of color. I could be wrong but there was a lawsuit I think where a company was only hiring white women and black men, and no woc.

I was mainly saying they’re both bad because I’ve had a few men saying misogyny doesn’t exist/doesn’t matter because racism is worse, which I agree it is worse, but it doesn’t cancel out misogyny. I’m white and come from a predominantly white town so while I try to educate myself online, it’s very different than actually knowing someone let alone living the life someone of color does, so I’m really sorry if I’m coming off horrible here please let me know
