As someone who has many cousins and family members who are adopted, are in cps custody, or had bad home conditions. It really depends on the situation for whether that’s bad news or not. My mom is a nurse and one of her child patients was taken out of the mothers care bc of abuse and put in care of the aunt Who literally lives with the bio mom. If the dad is a good guy then it should be good news that the little girl is w the bio dad. Could just be a bittersweet sadness thing too.

The adoptive mom was saying the owner of the adoption agency told her that like 1-2 days after the bio mom gave birth. When she didn’t know anything about the bio dad. It just strikes me that the agency immediately coded it as “bad news” that a parent was seeking to parent. Bad news to him bc he then misses out on all the money he could have made from the adoption. Mom only relinquished bc she didn’t have money

Yeah I don’t like adoption agencies at all and don’t offer any condolences to them. If someone wants to adopt and goes w an agency I immediately side eye them bc there’s a whole system that needs people to foster kids.
