not ohio but neighboring state. depends on the year but typically somewhere between 50-65 in october. you could get by with a light jacket

Hi Ohioan here, mid October it usually starts to get very chilly & rainy depending on lake effect (yes it can reach Columbus), I would obviously start checking the weather at least a week in advance to prepare but I would anticipate bringing a windbreaker & hoodie, probably pants & a t-shirt/short sleeve so you can take off the hoodie if you get hot

Good luck predicting the weather in the fall here. Statewide I’ve seen anywhere from 30s with snow to extremely humid 80s. Generally it’s in the 50s but you really never know. I will say it seems like lately the seasonal weather is shifting to where it takes longer to warm up in the spring/summer and the summer heat lasts much longer into the fall

#1 & 2 are right temp wise but idk, i live about 1-2hrs north of cbus and mid-late October it goes as low as 40 maybe 30 sometimes, and like i said oddly it rains a decent amount so idk, just def be prepared for anything, sometimes in the off chance it can literally be over 60 but in my experience it’s usually starting to get cold more like 40-50

Also depends on where in Ohio. Middle to southern Ohio is a little more consistent and slightly warmer than the north, and if you get into the Cleveland or Toledo area the lake can make it a LOT colder. It’s also much windier up north than in the cincy area because there are zero hills or mountains to block it.

one year i was going from frat to frat on halloweekend in a mini skirt and tank top and there are years where it is snowing and i’ve literally had to wear a winter coat over my costume
