HOT TAKE but i dont think soulmates are real. i think hopeless romantics idolize the idea, bc it gives them hope that someone is out there for them but this is wishful thinking that makes them ignore red flags & makes them easier to manipulate

there isn’t any one definition of “soulmate,” but in terms of fate? definitely not 😭 soulmates are propaganda to make you stay with someone when they’re a good but incompatible person for you
