I’m so excited im gonna move in with my aunt soon and she’s very into quilting (one weekend a month she goes on these “quilt retreats” with her friends and just goes ham on some quilts) and she told me that she’s gonna teach me

My grammy taught me how to sew starting when I was like 3 and she doesn’t really make quilts but she made clothes for me and my cousins so my cousin and I are making it together

Her mom also made a bunch of quilts for family members (we have one) but they didn’t have the best relationship so she’s never had one made for her :(

I got a super cheap rotary cutter at walmart and it works great as long as you have a solid surface under the fabric
