$20k is definitely not a bare minimum wedding. I had help with mine (grandmother bought my dress (discounted), used relative’s venue, made my own cake, I’m friends with a photographer) and we did it under $5,000. Several other people I know have done it for under $10,000, you just have to use your people skills
