My bf once said “she’s awesome, idk what I’d do without her” abt his girl best friend bc she psyched him up for a while to ask me out. He said this to show me how lucky he was to have met me. He also has a running joke that his childhood friend is his boyfriend. He says this to make me laugh and I think to point out that he misses me with humor. What was your bf trying to communicate when he said that? How was he trying to make you feel?

Not crazy, next he’ll be calling her his “work wife.” I would try to sit down and clearly explain that his words are making you uncomfortable

No ^^ just dump him. He’s clearly not all in for you, while you’re all in for him. That’s not worth your time and someone like him will change his “words” and you’ll find out he’s cheating when it’s too late. Don’t get your heart broken over some man that doesn’t want to give you his all.

i want to, but i’ve already said i was uncomfortable with him living with one of his best friends next semester who he used to hook up with, so he’s not living with that guy and that already feels like i’m controlling him

yeah this is the second time he said sm weird like that, apparently before we met he called his friend a slur that starts with a b but it’s very embarrassed and regretful about it, so keeping my eyes on that

You’re not doing the things to him that he’s doing to you. He’s not treating you right and clearly likes another woman. If this is how it’s gonna start, he’s gonna get worse. I wouldn’t put myself through that.
