She brought up the topic of religion being homophobic came up and I mentioned that many Catholic and Christian church’s in my area are super accepting and disability and lgbt friendly and have even done events to raise money for lgbt charities in response for getting backlash from homophobes. She said they’re still evil cause all priests are pedophiles and anyone who is a member of said church is just as bad.

The suffering in Gaza right now is way more important you should be using your energy to try to focus on supporting their cause.” Saying we should instead be going to protests and donating money to help them and it’s wrong for us to sit idly and do nothing. She graduated college a few years back we are college students who’s whole time rn is consumed by homework and studying. tbh the only thing you can do is either call her out on her bullshit - tell her to her face that she doesn’t care about any of these causes, she just cares about feeling superior - or outwoke her. Yeah gaza is a really big issue for me too, what have you been doing to help? Have you been donating? Have you been protesting? Why haven’t you gone to Palestine to aid? and then keep escalating til she explodes

Thanks! Talked to others in group and it seems she’s very vocal about her opinions but is specifically targeting me to be an ass and make me uncomfortable in vc (plus she keeps making jokes accusing me of being homophobic or racist for no reason specifically only when I’m in call drunk or high like she’s trying to get some dirt or smth on me) She was really pissed when in dnd my character was dependent on winning a fight since the monsters needed to be stopped with ice spells no one else had.

It seems like she got mad I was getting killing blows since I have one of the best spells in game doing up 4-48 damage which can one-hit kill some characters. Last meeting she whined the mini-boss fight was too short and easy when it went on awhile and 3 characters almost died including hers. I don’t have the confidence to speak to her one-on-one. I’ve also asked others in the group who have confirmed that she’s doing this and it seems like she’s specifically targeting me to be an asshole.
