it’s probably a scam. kind of a long con but people will intentionally pretend to message the wrong person and then strike up a conversation or relationship to built trust that eventually ends with you revealing some personal information or giving away money or something like that

Immediately my first thought too. Reverse searched it and it says low spam risk and it’s T-Mobile and a 65+ yr old living in Oregon so possibly real but who knowd
