If you struggle with under-eating (totally understandable in the current cultural landscape) I think it’s so irresponsible to post “what I eat in a day” videos. Esp if you have a large platform. Wishing these women healing but pls don’t post that stuff 🙏

Its on purpose given the competitive nature of eating disorders. Full disclosure its difficult for me to not say "oh ive only eaten x amout of food today i should really eat" and posting it online garners an even bigger reaction

Yeah I literally saw the thumbnail for a vid that said “how I lost 20 pounds”, and the women was a pretty average looking height but went from 120 to 100. With the before and after pics, only the before looked healthy. That is so triggering for ppl especially those with Eds😕

Wieiad videos are just pandering to the ed community imo. I never care about that content when I’m eating healthily but when I’m undereating and all I can think about is food I watch them religiously.

Thats so much less dangerous tho than undereating. Like yeah its a prob esp with overconsumption in general but less damaging as a whole

it's really not less dangerous especially if you eat majority processed foods!

not everyone who undereats has anorexia! and what can be viewed as undereating with how normalized overeating is could actually be a perfectly normal day of eating for a small or less active person
