I’m an art major and there are ppl who take drawing classes as electives and are phenomenal at it I feel so behind even though I’ve been trying for years.😭

As an ex art major, minor in art and major in something else you are passionate about. You’ll learn everything you need to learn through the minor and have another degree to fall back on. With art, you don’t truly need a degree if you are just good

i feel that. i didn’t major in art but it takes up nearly all my free time since it’s a passion. im lowkey still ass even after 15 years of consistent practice

i just graduated with an art major! i definitely felt this my first few classes. the thing that ended up helping me shake it off was critiques, weirdly enough. everyone’s unsure, everyone’s battling their own thoughts. but being able to sit together and share ideas and encouragement was a major w. one of the only things about college i’m going to genuinely miss!

plus, classes aren’t meant for you to show off what you already know. they’re to help you build your skills and dig deeper into your own style. always room to grow! sorry if i worded this bit a little rudely i just don’t really know how else to phrase it
