Anyways I: -put blankets over all the windows and towels on the bottom of doors/windows -turned all the faucets on and opened the under the sink cabinets -filled the bathtub with water just in case I need it to flush the toilet -put masking tape over the gaps in the door frames to block the air without trapping me in (he said this was very smart so I can get out easy if need be) -put the heat on 76 so that when/if the power goes out the apartment isn’t as cold as it usually is right off the bat

Also we did all of our laundry today and stocked up on water and shelf stable food and I took anything liquid out of my car and parked away from trees in a spot that gets sun. Also I have all the interior doors open so the heat flows through the apartment as much as possible
