I'll agree with the disparity between a person's political views and if they'll be abusive, simply because that's just true that ANYONE can be abusive regardless of how they display their beliefs. However, I will say that I believe it's definitely more likely a right-winged guy will be more openly abusive in some way, as their views often come from seeing women as less than equal or as something they have complete power over
