i had to have help to get to where i went because i didn’t have any money saved up, and i also had somebody to live with when i got there. it’s gonna be very tough to manage with absolutely no support unless you’re able to get into shelters or have enough saved to get a rental and have a job ready to go when you get there

i was 22 but i didnt have any money. i had been in contact w shelters for weeks beforehand & finally one said theyd accept me so i left & had my friend pick me up. i stayed at a diff friends for one night & then the next day into the shelter i went. from there i was pretty much on my own
