A FAN, brita filter, air purifier, the rest is all bs storage shit. Do NOT get a hamper bag though, get something like a hamper on wheels. I hated the damn hamper backpack thing.

shower caddy and shower shoes! good idea to have some additional closet organizers or hanging shelves bc u won’t have that much space. command hooks/whatever ur allowed to use in ur building to hang things, i find it way easier to just put my coat on a hook than fully hang it up every time i come back to my dorm. shoe rack is a big help for me. power strip for on ur desk (plug into wall and then have it on ur desk to plug everything else in).

If your dorm building has a communal kitchen, I rented a microwave/fridge combo for my room to hold ingredients and bought a cooking pan and small cutting board & knife set to use to prepare food for myself when I got tired of my sucky campus food options. Saved my life tbh

and a FAN!!! me personally idgaf abt air purifiers i dont think they do anything but if u notice at some point in the year that the air is particularly dry u might end up wanting a humidifier (don’t buy it now wait until u need it, its region dependent). also a mattress pad type thing bc the dorm mattress will probably not be comfortable on its own.
