Sadly it is, coming from someone who gained a ton of weight and lost it. Everyone treats me nicer compared to when I was bigger.

When I decided to do something new with my appearance I noticed that it’s true bc every guy who’d joke about how ugly I was in hs started following me and were really nice all of a sudden
