As a lesbian before any sexual activity I have my partners get tested before since there’s not much protection for us. And if they refuse then absolutely not and idc if you recently got tested cause you best believe imma make you get tested again before coming near me. Stay safe out there yall

Me tooo i have hpv and i hate it, thankfully its an easy std and goes away on its own and i can still have sex cuz most people get it but i still hate having to tell people and also hiding it from fam is scary

I had one that was asymptomatic for over a year when I found out. I then had to tell my boyfriend of 9-10 months about it. He knew that I wasn’t safe about my body before hand but it caused a lot of tension between us for a while because automatically his brain had him thinking I was cheating. The asymptomatic ones suck so much just because you never know when or who it came from

good luck girl i hope they’re nice about it! i had a syphilis scare (misinterpreted the test results bc i read them before the doc contacted me) and a couple of the guys were total assholes. one tried to force me to pay for him to get tested as if that’s not something he should alr be doing on his own??? esp when you’re refusing to use condoms like fuck off

fr the most annoying lingering sti. i've had it 3 yrs now and my doc recommended a supplement that's $80 a month. like girl i don't wanna budget for THAT

and another one didn’t even reply until like a week later (after i had already confirmed that i did not, in fact, have syphilis) spamming my phone bc something was wrong with his dick and accusing me of infecting him😭 like they genuinely do not gaf about protection until they think they caught something then it’s all your fault. no accountability whatsoever
