struggle with people pleasing and I just stood a guy up for the first time because he was 10 minutes late without telling me and then he was 15 minutes late altogether and there was just a gut feeling… I felt like it wasn’t safe

but anyways, I literally blocked him and then I blocked him on Instagram too, and I left because I was in the parking lot that was next to where we were going. He also was flirting in a very weird way by saying like. Oh, that’ll be us or he literally the first or second Instagram DM he sent me was a gym post of a couple and he said wanna do this

The first time we talked about the day, he said I get out at 8:20 PM and I can get you at nine and I never said he can get me or anything and I don’t drive with a random man to a first date. I told him I’ll drive myself and then he bluntly said I’ll send you the location later. I even told him why I don’t. Anyways.

by the way, when he got there, I probably blocked him like two minutes immediately after and I sent a heart so he can see the notification and then I blocked him. I don’t doubt that he probably just stayed there for 10 minutes and then left so he wasn’t there for that long and he was just waiting in the front.

I also didn’t know that much about him and only knew some things and when I asked him about what his favorite TV shows and movies are he’s like ha ha you’ll figure it out and I’m like what and he says you’ll see and I’m like dude stop trying to be mysterious like what the fuck—obviously I didn’t tell him that but ya. We literally just matched like four days ago and we were texting on Instagram. I think the last two days.

today he texted me at like eight or 9 o’clock in the morning and I texted him back near 11 to 12 because I was working and he doesn’t text me back for like 5 1/2 hours by the way and our date was for 9 o’clock or like 845 and I literally had to ask him for confirmation.

and then when I did, he said again that he can still pick me up and that he does drive safe and he was like joking around kind of, but I just thought it was kind of weird and I told him no it’s OK and that just really gave off a red flag. as I said, this is the first time I was nervous on a first date about my safety. It wasn’t like first date nerves like am I gonna embarrass myself or am I gonna say something? Genuinely thought he was gonna do something to me.
