Okay I need people to give me good healthy recipes to make, cause I’m gonna start meal planning/prepping for my diet and I need ideas that isn’t just rice and eggs.i like to do a 1:1 ratio of ground turkey to beans and mix that up. for example this week i did tex mex style with black beans, a can of rotel, a can of hominy, and side of rice my fav is green coconut curry with lentils, and sometimes i do “egg roll in a bowl” (i’ll comment recipes in the thread i think im gonna run out of room)
green curry: turkey, lentils, a can of coconut milk, a can of green curry paste (arroy d or maesri brand are fav), and enough chicken or veg broth to make sure the lentils cook up right. whatever frozen veg i have on hand (butternut squash works great in this, or a mix like you’d get in thai restaurant) the basis for this is 1lb turkey/beans, if you do more than that adjust your liquids and curry paste accordingly
egg roll bowl: turkey, lentils (optional but good low cal protein boost + micro nutrients), bag of slaw mix, ginger and garlic to taste. xiaoxing cooking wine adds that takeout flavor, otherwise use whatever asian inspired seasoning you prefer all of my recipes get a side of rice, but you could do protein pasta or whatever you like that works for your macro goals
