Period rest of the day: calm, no symptoms, light bleeding Period as soon as class starts: heavy bleeding, cramps, migraines, nausea so bad I throw up Painkillers and hydrating doesnt help, might have something hereditary and havnt been looked at yet :(

i had these exact symptoms and going on progesterone pills helped me a lot! ask your gyno if you haven’t yet!

The irony is my period didn’t get like this until 3 months after seeing mine for the first time. For the past two years my period’s been low symptoms and normal bloodflow, now it’s back to the heavy bleeding and terrible cramps I’ve had since my first period but sometimes worse. It makes it hard to attend classes and put effort into my art projects for class, I have a high pain tolerance and will sometimes break down into tears in the middle of a lecture from the pain

if you started medication at that time it may also be a side effect

Nope not on anything other than an inhaler and the meds I’ve been taking for over a decade with little side effects
