If you feel that not all men are like this. Go ahead and give up your address on the first date. But I don’t think anyone with a brain would give their address, finances, or where they work out to a man especially one they barely know and has nothing.
Stop letting men come to your house. A man shouldn’t know your address, where you work, and your finances. Don’t give him a dollar, don’t let him stay the night. A man with nothing will make you lose everything you have. Self awareness is so important.

In what instance would you ever give out this information? Like when on a first date are you ever gonna drop your address or any of this information 😭

Like a man seems nice, yeah, up until he asks for $5. He seems nice up until he wants to come visit. You said no he comes over anyways. He seems real nice up until he starts leaving stuff at your house, and now you can’t get him out of your house. He seems real nice up until he doesn’t get his way or he’s mad. Now he’s destroying where you live at. Anybody can be nice and show a good side to them, but it doesn’t mean you give them access to your entire life.

Is he going to be nice and let you stay at his house when you get put out? I don’t think many people will feel bad for you because you gave out your information. Why “Because all men aren’t like this.” As a woman use your brain please. Thank you

Because they live in a fairy tale world. Everything is rainbows and sugar dust to them. When in reality, most women are not socially aware like they should be.

I’m not sure why we’re acting like people don’t do this when numbers of women do this and do not realize that it’s dangerous to do this. So clearly I’m not speaking to you. If you don’t do this of course I’m not speaking to you. Of course it’s not going to resonate with you because I’m not speaking to you. There was no need for your comment. I’m speaking to people who do it and shouldn’t do it.

Why on earth would you do this? Some random stranger on a first date? If you do that you may deserve the chaos OP is describing I’m ngl 😭

Congratulations! I’m proud that you don’t do it, but I’m talking to people who do it, so find somewhere else to go maybe the block list because I’m not talking to you.

Like many women, explain their financial situations to men on the first date, thinking there’s no harm to it when it is. Many women slip up and give away the neighborhood they live in or what side of town they live in without realizing they shouldn’t. They forget or don’t know that they shouldn’t tell a man who they live with or if they live alone. But many women don’t realize that, like, damn. I’m just trying to provide awareness to the situation.

This real tho. Men have 3001 ways to force you to let him stay with you. Quickly turns into ab*se. Just because u are dating a golden ehh doesn’t mean 80% of men aren’t creeps, stalkers and weirdos who only want ur body and ur time

I’m well-acquainted with stalkers & blackmailing and how insidious they can be. that doesn’t mean OP’s slippery slope comment can’t be stopped 90% of the time by just breaking up with a guy when he’s being a dick.

People will give their address to people without meeting them before a hook up I’ve seen it happen with my own two eyes

Well it’s time we teach women that men are not safe. We can’t prevent what has happened in the past, but we can warn people for the future. In fact many men these days are being told that being alone with a woman is not safe, for women it’s even moreso. All men usually want to do by coming over is have sex anyways and if you didn’t know this, I’m telling you now so you can avoid my mistakes. Meet men in public places to start. The worst men will get immediately defensive when u suggest that
