My mom and grandmother are big on etiquette, so I learned a lot of social skills!! …just none that helped me to interact with my teenage peers. If I ever get invited to tea with the Queen I’m fuckin’ SET though 😎

they tried! im late diagnosed autistic and my mom is obviously the parent i got it from but doesnt know it and she tried to teach me a lot of the social “rules” she has for herself to help her mask and come across as more “normal”
