Literally my coworker’s kid just lost a tooth and he was so excited to tell me about the $1 he got from the tooth fairy and I was so relieved by that lol

i grew up in a rich area and i would get maybe a dollar for every tooth i lost meanwhile my best friend got TWENTY-FIVE dollars for every tooth 💀

I think I got $20 for a tooth once HOWEVER it was bc it was extracted by the dentist that I bit after he held me down to get it and caused my lifelong trauma and fear of dentistry (I’m 24 and still cry at every cleaning) and baby me was so sad thinking the tooth fairy wouldn’t take it if it wasn’t lost naturally. I feel like that was an okay excuse for it. My mom felt SOOO bad.
