ur both valid to feel how u feel we’re all just people. feelings and wants change she’s allowed to not be happy and ur allowed to not wanna hear that imo

They’re someone who’s really privilege but also very smart so they’ve managed to secure internships and jobs related to their career. But they complain about not caring about the career and just doing it for the money. They seem kinda ungrateful for opportunities that many people would love to have

Yeah that’s fair, it’s just confusing to see someone whose so successful and has had opportunities that have contributed to that be so indifferent towards it

But I guess it’s mainly a me problem because she isn’t technically hurting anyone. I guess part of my frustration is envy because I would love to be in their position.

it kinda sounds like jealousy or comparison - not being mean just listening- i think it’s normal to be jelly of a friend if it happens

True, they’re a decent friend too I guess but I don’t think it’s healthy for me to be more involved in the friendship bc of my own personal issues
