Trump bombed Venezuela and then kidnapped the president and his wife, brought them to the US to charge them with charges he’s previously pardoned and released previous criminals for in hopes they can steal the oil and minerals in the country.

That’s not the full picture. Yes trump is a huge hypocrite but the leader is a tyrant and has been targeted mainly for drug trafficking into the US. He apparently has been causing the people of Venezuela a lot of trouble and pain. Trump isn’t a good leader either and I hate his guts. But the rumors of the oil and natural resource stealing came from the officials at Venezuela who were working under a dictator. So we can’t exactly take that as a full truth.

No that’s exactly the truth. The US government has been seizing oil tankers for weeks now, and frankly if it was JUST about the dictator, why would they kidnap his wife too? Trump Jr. has steak in mineral companies, which is also a huge resource to Venezuela. It also messes with their sovereignty. We have no business to be going in and kidnapping world leaders (which is an international crime by the way) and bombing civilian locations as well with 0 congressional approval.

Yeah I don’t support trumps actions at all, and I wouldn’t put it past him, I’m just saying there’s a lot of grey area atm. I don’t think we needed to kidnap anyone but trump is a huge fucking idiot who thinks with his dick. It’s not new really. This is the exact same thing we did in the Middle East, also for oil. Even down to the excuses of drugs and dictatorship. Watch the CIA funnel money into the cartels too just to cause even more chaos in the region.

You’re missing the part where trump announced WE are going to take control of Venezuela in their leaders absence and are going to run their oil companies 👍 we literally did this intentionally to take over their resources and not to help the people at all. If it was to help people we wouldn’t have bombed places with innocent civilians TWICE and we wouldn’t have killed the people WE SHIPWRECKED just holding onto boat debris. This article is missing really key information like 1. How many Venezuelans the USA has killed in their attacks on Venezuela. 2. Trump’s announcement that the USA itself will be running Venezuela (with no time frame listed or intent to relinquish power at any point) 2. That we will be taking over all of their oil

Seeing as Maduro is so horrible, we should have been helping the Venezuelan people take back control of their own country, to let him face justice of his country. Not seize their leader and his wife and take control of all their assets for ourselves and our own benefit while bombing their civilians.
