yes but if a significant other is preventing someone from talking to their friends, chances are they are toxic or abusive in some way so the normal rules of social decency are the last thing on the victim’s mind

And that’s completely fair. I’m just sitting here thinking about when one of my friends looked at me dead in the face and said my significant other doesn’t like you so you can’t come my graduation celebration with our other friends
